Both of the boys have been fortunate enough to receive iPads from the Adam Morgan Foundation. Today we actually got to pick up our 2nd set of iPads, because it had been 3 years since they got their first ones and some software and updates couldn’t be made anymore. Not only does this foundation provide iPads to people who need them for communication, they also have workshops for parents and families to help them understand their child more and to realize how able their child is. I’ve been fortunate to attend some of the workshops and always feel refreshed and more knowledgeable about how to help the boys after attending. Right now there is a waiting list for the iPads due to lack of funding, so we are trying to help raise funds so other deserving people can also get their iPads to help their voices be heard.
